Lyons has been discussed before and I think the concensus was that the knives he makes are excellent.

I have also seen some 'cajun whittlers' elsewhere on the internet - do a search using that name - they are generally 3" blades.

Tim: Thanks for posting that link!! I bought a palm gouge set from them many yrs ago. Had been trying to find their site, as I was very pleased with their service. Their being here in Iowa, as is Denny I'll be contacting them.
