| | Re: keeping tools out of a box it really beats the cost and time of cutting all that pvc and drilling all them stepprd holes in the other racks...
if you need multi level just put a wedged shape wooden bottom in it, but i cant find nothing to beat it for 2 bucks,
although it would be nice if they were clear..... |

| | Re: keeping tools out of a box Ok..I'm really dense here.. and not seeing how this works.
How do the tools sit in this? Blade down and if so.. does the sharp end hit the bottom or does the handle keep the sharp end from contact with the bottom? |

| | Re: keeping tools out of a box Sharp end resting on the plastic I would venture to say. Shouldn't hurt the cutting edge since it is plastic. I take it the tray is a soft plastic. I havbe some edge guards from Rick that appear tp ne the same material and they sure don't harm the edge.
However, if you are afraid that the edge will get dull, A little piece of leather in the bottom should do the trick. |

| | Re: keeping tools out of a box most tools i have wont reach the bottom. you couldnt get your index finger into the holes,
but tools like my dockyard micro gouges and i turn them up to see the ends any way
besides the soft plastic wont dull a good tool | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
