Difficult to tell from the pictures, but I would guess they are older Sculpture House tools.
My Dad used to tell me "It's only a good buy if you need them"

By the thickness, length of grind, and alignment of the grind,(from what I can see) I would guess they are good quality.
If you need them, I would pay up to $185.00

Goody,

Looks like the 24 tool Mega Woodcarver's Set made by Sculpture House. Here's a link to a poor photo and the list of tools in the set:

http://www.mountainwoodcarvers.com/mallettools.htm

After looking at the list, it looks like you have larger tools than what's on the list. But they still look like Sculpture House tools.

Hope this helps.

I do have a question though: is there a difference between Sculpture house tools, Lamp brand tools, and Warren tools? Because when I look at Sculpture house's website, I see what look like to be Ramelson, Lamp, and Warren tools on their site. Sculpture house says they manufacture their tools in Brooklyn, NYC, NY. I'm guessing the Sculpture house are knock-offs, or are they manufacturing for others?!?! Confusing!!

Hello,

As to the difference, it is my understanding that Sculpture House makes the metal part of the Warren Cutlery tools, and Warren Cutlery makes the handles, etc. Ramelson tools are not related in any way to my knowledge.

Thanks,
Dan Heine

After seeing Sculpture House in person at the Tusla Carving show and in talking with the vendor fro Colorada, These look to be the same as what he was selling. Nice tools, Prices were great. However, I did not buy any from him.
Kind of like tires anymore, Anly a few companies makes them anymore but put different brand names on them.
