Groover could you possibly post a breakdown of the parts and how to assemble it? I would like to make one, thanks in advance and if you can't don't worry.

Hey Carver /Turner from nowhere ! As far as a break down of parts its very simple i used a 1'' 1/8 trailer hich ball witha 5/8 thread for rotation and i used twoo floor mount galavanized flanges 1 '' and sliced of the fronr of them and then cut a path over to the ball to let drop down the pivot when needed, the flanges alwready come with a resest groove in side the flange that alows the ball to roll nice, and also bind better when tightened, i used 3 1 -1/2 5/5 bolts, and made the holes in the flange bigger to fit them, when assemleld by hand these bolts just tighten with your fingers and leave the last one snug and i just give it about a half turn with a box wrenche and its realy locked down, if i hade to modify it anymore i would make the stem longer but it would cause more stress on the ball and would need to be locked down more, i like to paint with it and leave the vice just snug and you can lean on it and still move it around. I hope this was helpfull for you OK Thanks Groover |
