| | Great Feedback For Wecheer!! Hey All,
I just had to write to tell you about the fantastic service I got from the WeCheer Corp. regarding my rotary tool with a reciprocating gouge.
The Christmas before last, my husband Ted bought me this tool at my request. I've had several dremels before that die too soon so I thought buying a more expensive one would be better in the long run. Plus, I was very interested in trying the reciprocating part.
Well, after trying it 3 times, I was really satisfied with it and glad I bought it, but with a new baby, I didn't have any time for it so I hung it up for about 1 1/2 years.
A few weeks ago, I decided to try using it again. Turned it on...it worked a few seconds and died. I figured it was a loose plug so tried it again, same thing. Then, it just wouldn't turn on at all. Needless to say, I was not happy! Since I had only used it 3 times, I was especially irate. Problem is, I figured since it had been over a year since I used it, I was totally out of luck. So I did nothing.
Then I read some good reports about them on this board, specifically about how good their customer service was. I doubted they'd help, but emailed them anyway, explaining to them what I just wrote here. How did they help? They had me mail it to them with a $7.00 check for return mail. They said they'd either fix it or give me a new one. A week or two after mailing it, I received another email telling me they had received the tool and would be fixing it and mailing it back to me in a few days.
They were as good as their word! I got it back and it works beautifully! I am very impressed with the way they took care of the situation. I really thought that they'd tell me they couldn't do anything since I had had the tool for over a year.
So, I had to share this with you, especially if you ever consider buying something from them. Good Customer Service seems to have died out with orange shag rugs and lava lamps. I'm very happy to say that WeCheer still carries on the tradition!

| | Re: Great Feedback For Wecheer!! Hi Ho, the tool was in excellent condition on the outside, no telling if it rusted on the inside. Just to be safe though, I've stored it upstairs this time.
Bob, being born in 1969, I do remember alot of the aftermath of the 60s and 70s! And I do remember funky polyester, orange clothes and furniture (ugh!), dark wood pannelling, guys with long hair in ponytails, shows like The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Barney Miller, and being scared to death of the commercials for "Jaws"! |

You attach the reciprocating piece to the rotary tool if you'd like to use basically a power gouge to take off big pieces of wood.
For me, the worst part of carving is the beginning, shaving off piece after piece of wood. It's boring, dulls the blades fast, and tires my hands and wrists too quick.
The reciprocating gouge, when pressed against the wood, will automatically start pumping up and down, allowing you to push thru the wood much easier and faster.
I believe there are others on this board who have used it too.
