Default Gouges worth trying

Got a 1/2' #5 Denny palm gouge a while back and have been giving it a going over. Absolutly love it. If your in the market for a gouge you might give one a try. I'm going to order a couple more (probably a 7 and 9) next time I order stuff.

I just bought some Denny gouges from Little Shavers at a show in Monroe. I love the way they fit my hand and they cut perfect. For the money, I haven't found a better gouge (IMHO). I have three different sets of hand gouges, and these are now my favorites. Thanks for the advise Rick.

I have a 3/4 #9 Auriou gouge I got from Dale I just tried it today and I like it. I haven't used large gouges in the past so is a new experience...but this is a nice tool.

I hope to buy the whole set but the way Denny is coming out with new ones I may not make it.
