Default Free Sharpening!

Smoky Mountain Woodcarvers is offering free sharpening, and that's a pretty good price.

"We will sharpen them for you (free - for a reasonable number) if you bring them by or mail them to us."

http://www.woodcarvers.com/bsharp.htm

I don't know how they do it, but that's pretty cool.

Sorry Rick but I have been spoiled I wouldnt send my tools to anyone but you. I rave to my friends about you all the time. They cant believe that I send my tools all the way from Canada to Seattle to get sharpened. As I tell them when you want the best the cost is not a problem. BTW I have another box ready to send to you probably next week.

They do a good job of sharpening. I know the person that sharpens most of their tools and would highly recommend him personally. With that being said, I cannot guarantee that he will be the one to sharpen a tool if it's sent there.

They do sharpen all tools before shipment. If you want to evaluate their capability, buy one of the pocketknives that they have for sale. Not sure if it's listed on their web site. Or send them a couple of tools..... it will only cost you shipping.

I went down there last week and got some gouges sharpened. They are very sharp. I bought the tools to hopefully do it myself from now on. Allen Goodman is who done mine.

I talked to Allen yesterday while I was buying a Foredom 5240 kit. I got tired of buying dremels all the time.
Great bunch of folks at Nawger Nob.
You're right about his sharpening ability. I had a few tools that i was never satisfied with the sharpness that I was getting by myself. He fixed them right up for me.
