Default Re: problem with Mastercarver tool

Hay Paul I'm a daily user of the Foredom and I also sell them on my web site. the "stiff" problem you are experiences might be cause by build up inside the handpiece where the shaft goes in, i find that i need ot clean mine ever so often, i keep 3 handpieces at each student's bench and more than a dozen at mine and you are right they get stiff after a while, the lube from the shaft mixed with fine dust seems to be the culpult, i use some light solivent adn a rag than blow it out real good by compressed air, let me know if this helps...bye for now
