Default finger nail files

I was wondering if any of you have used fingernail files as a way to sand your carvings? I found a package of them at the $ store and figured I would give them a shot!! They do work and at the right price

I always keep a package in my tool box.
i like to cut one end to point to get into those tight spots & when the point wears out i just cut a new one.
if you want more grit i just glue sandpaper to wooden coffee stirers .

Yep, I buy them at wallyworld in the cosmetics dept. they are two sided, coarse and fine and have a paper and foam core...you can trim them with your scizzors...use them more than anything on my carvings! I took a couple of them and cut them length wise to give me two narrower pieces....work good

I find them great for Celtic knot work, or anything requiring sanding those hard to reach places. Shape them to fit or just as is, they make a welcome addition to my travel kit.

They're perfect for any number of little sanding jobs. My wife is always on the warpath because she buys some for her nails, and I raid her.

Well, why should I buy any when she buys them?
