Got my Woodcraft Catalog last night. And placed an Order for the Pfeil 6 pc Professional carving set. And added a 3MM Veiner to the order. That should get me started anyway! Been wanting to step up from the palm tools for some time. Last edited by Jim-Iowa; 09-09-2008 at 11:52 AM. |

I think you'll be pleased with your purchase Jim. I've used those tools for over two years and am quite pleased with them. Patrick |

Hi Jim, about 1/2 of my set are Pfeil's, maybe more. I think they're great, and have been using them for a few years, too. You won't be disappointed. Mark |

I recently picked up a dozen of them from Woodcraft and they are great tools. I still use my Flexcuts for a traveling set when I go out to the farm but the "Swiss Made" tools are my choice for my shop work.

An excellent choice! You'll be pleased Jim-Iowa with the Pfeil tools. But, be careful! I had bought about 20 over the years, and they were quite adequate for what I do. Then, in a moment of weakness and excess cash-on-hand, I order the "Brienz collection." It's very wonderful, and comes in a nice fitted beechwood case, but I rarely use them. Someday I will! |

Well they came today! And forgive my enthusiasm, Their Beautiful! Only thing I can see off to bat is the handles need to be smoothed up some. Probably would not bother most, but since I sit in an office pounding on a keyboard my hands are too soft. |

Jim, Enjoy those new tools, they are beautiful. I picked up 8 Swiss made palm tools at Woodcraft a couple weeks ago, I love them, they cut like a hot knife thru butter. Enjoy !! Cheers Dave |
