Default Felt wheel and turning tools

I imported and sold English hard felt wheels...Right now at three and one is for me.A potential customer wants one to sharpen his turning tools...Told him I knew nothing about turning tools, what felt wheels and cooling compound would do...Not to buy, will put one back and see if he would be wasting his money or not... is can he use a felt wheel, if so, where? Now, if the lad used conventional tools, would have him out there putting edges on 50 or so tools for me.....................
