Default Dust collector hooked up! Fun!!!

I finally bought and installed a dust collector for my bandsaw. I got a one stage Delta 1hp and it works great. The exciting part ...... is the results on the bandsaw! WOW does this thing cut!

I cut up some Cherry wood that a friend had dropped off a year or two ago, full trunks, about 5" diamiter, I had been seasoning. It slabbed them up as smooth as silk. Now I can get at that A PPLE wood I collected and some Maple I had set aside drying.

Don't ya love it when something works better than you expect!

Bob

Bob,
Good move! One of the best investments for wood working and lungs! The other thing I like about my dust collector is it's quieter by far than my shop vac. I almost forget it's running!
