Default dupli-carver question

Long time no post..but, I'm still here..
Anyway, I need to know if anyone has had much experience with the Model T-110 Dupli-Carver ???
I would like to use one for rough outs and am just wondering how they work and if they perform well for that application.
Please respond if you might know.. THANKS!! ??? Woodpecker

Well since no one has replied I will simply say that I have talked to a few people in the past that used the duplicarver for just that and seemed happy with them. I have no idea if they were using the same model you are considering or not.

so now you have no more information then you did before I posted... :P Good luck.

I have wanted to get a duplicate carving machine for a long time too. I just don't know how good they are for the price they want for them. If someone does reply I will wait on the edge of my seat for the information.

Used aT110 Duplicarver for 12 years, sell small Santa figures on wholesale basis, dealers want something looking like the photos sent them. There is a lot of new technology out there ,nine inch santa taking 40 min.with square end router, can be done in 15 min,Some items sold as duplicating machines are slower than doing by hand..Best bit of advice I can give you is to buy a round end router bit and throw the square end router roughing bit as far away as you can, they slam and throw the alignment of the stylus and cutter out of wack, usually ruining the piece. The other thing is that on occasion,I enter carving shows, these carvings are made larger than what will fit in a T110,once you start playing with a copy machine, the backstabbers come out to play and no matter what you do,it's a copy,so be warned. Will be doing some articles on cutters, masters etc, interesting world,
