Default dremel scrollsaw 1695

I was just given a dremel scrollsaw model 1695,16" variable speed, by a very dear friend, GOD BLESS her!!! Anyway I don't have a manual for it. My friend is looking for it. I went to the dremel web site and they don't have one. I did email them. It may take up to 3 weeks to hear back from them. I'm impatient and want to play with my new toy! In fact I've never used a scrollsaw at all! Does any one have that model? Does anyone know were I can down load a copy? And what is a good book to learn how to srcollsaw? Thanks for any and all help!!!

I have got a dremel 1680 scroll saw I recived fro christmass from my parents about 3 years ago.I love it, onlyproblem is the light bulb burnt out and I can't find a replacement. I use it all the time, and recomend that ya buy some good blades such as olsons all pro, they last great and are really sharp. As for the manual did ya try and google it? someone lese might have it posted somewhere.

Hi Sharon, I also have a 1680, I guess it's just an older model of the one you got. I uses the little thumb screws and then the blades with no pins work just fine. It's a great little machine for small stuff.

Exactly Cliff, SHaron I would guess yours has a little sander on the side or a hook up for a flex shaft dremel? Check foxchapelpublishing for books on scrollsawing, there a few scroll sawyer magizines out there my grandpa does some nice stuff on one.

Downloadable pdf manual for model 1680 16" scrollsaw here. While it may not be your exact model I will bet it is close enough to give you good info since the 1680 replaced the model 1695 which replaced the model 1671.

I don't have an answer for you. I am in the same boat. I just received a Model 1695 Dremel Scroll Saw, without a manual! I will be watching to see if anyone knows how to get one.

Hi sharp knife 1. I called Dremel and they sent me a manual for it. At the time it was free. The person was real nice. Try calling them or emailing. Let me know how it turned out.
