Default denny tools

i now we have discussed these before but i just wanted to give my two cents worth. i have been using denny tools off and on for quite awhile but here lately i have been using them more and more and have began to really like them. i have began to use them only and leaving my others alone.

last weekend i purchased the 3 denny #11s and have used them the past week and have found them to be the same fine quality as the other.

i guess what i am saying is if you are a beginner{or just wanting something new} give the dennys a looking at. you wont be dissapointed for they are good quality and have a good price tag on them making them affordable.

well thats my take on denny tools{and no i am not being paid for the advertisement just passing on some info lololol}

happy carving

It would be nice id Denny did send us a free one when we advertise their products. Well, not every time but hey, why not.
Story,Oh NO!

I bought a new pick up last month from a local(20 miles away) and when I went to pick the truck upand pay for it, on the back was the dealerships logo decal.

Well, being me, I asked, how much they would take off for me advertising for them. The salesman had a puzzled look on his face and asked,' What are you talking about'?

I walked over to the truck and pointed to the tailgate and showed him his dealer's decal. He said they put that on all of the vehicles they sale , it is good advertisement for their dealership.

Again, I ask, How much are you going to take off of the price for me driving all over with his dealship decal on MY truck.
`
Again, a puzzled look. Well, Being me and not careing to much for car salesman(hope I don't offend anyone), I said well, I am waiting on a fair reduction in the price. Me thinks the guy goes through life with that puzzled look. He said nothing. I says $500 should cover it. He is puzzled again and said he had never heard such a thing in the 25 years he had been selling vehicls.

Well buddy, "First time for everthing". Well, he was even more puzzled when I said, guess you don't want to sell the truck then eh? ANother puzzled look again. He went inside and got the owner of the dealership and he came out.

Glad it was a warm day and the little bride had left. She doesn't likes to be around me when I deal with dealer.

Well back to the story

The dealship wonder what was the matter, and I said to him, 'how much will you take off Of The price for advertising for you.

I said it real slow like as I think he was a little Maybe he just looks that way.

He started laughing and said he had a gentleman in there last year who asked the same thing And ask me my name. He said are you any relation to Josh, he said the last name. I said yeper, I taught him well. Well to finish this up, He said nothing would be deducted from the price. I had already struck a good deal on the truck. I said ok and went in and paid the price we had already agreed on and then followed the dealer dude and the puzzled looking saleguy back outside to the truck tail gate, pulled out the bottle of Undo and proceed to take the decal off. Now both had a very puzzled look on their face as I got in the truck thumbed my nose at them and started laughing at them as they were shaking their heads looking at each other with THAT PUZZLED look.

No reduction in price, no advertisement.
That is my story and I am sticking to it. Have a great week or month, I will.

BTW< Josh is my son.

Been there, done that!!!!!!!!!! I love it. I usually put it on the paper work during the deal, the salesman pushes it to me to sign and I add MY clause.
More then once.

I have to say that the salesman was one of the nicer one I have delt with in years.

My wife does not stay with me when I make a deal on a vehicle. She says, I want that one and then I make the deal.

Sometimes it is hours haggling over $100 difference. Did have one saleman ask me,' what's the deal on this $100, you can afford it". well yes, I can but, the difference is $100 in my pocket verse $100 in your pocket and I plan on buying a vehicle from somebody. Do you want to be that somebody or not. Usually, I get the $100 difference. Then I go call the little bride on the cell phone and tell her to meet me at Red Lobster as the saleman was buying dinner.hehehehehehehehehehe!

well if a smart mouth salesman said that to me, I would tell him his mickey mouse lot could afford the 100.00 more than I could, and enjoy his car.......and I would go home!

I used to work for an old guy who was quite wealthy. He was wandering around a farm/construction tractor dealership and struck a deal on a tractor, equipped with a front end loader. He and the salesman wrote up the deal, both signed it and the salesman went in and his manager approved it and gave my boss a copy. A few minutes later the bookkeeper came out and said they couldn't sell the tractor for that price because it didn't include the price of the loader. To make a long story short, my boss said a deal was a deal. If they didn't honor the approved
sales agreement his next stop would be his attorneys office. As he was paying for the tractor and front end loader (in cash) he did give them an extra $100, smiling and saying "Since you guys screwed up I will give you a little extra." Must be nice to have money.
