OH........at least 10,000,000 of us.

Sorry Dull Knife, I couldn't pass it up. As Larry says "Lord, I'm sorry about that".
I have several, amoung others, and use them each time I carve. Denny's a nice guy also.

I love the Denny knives. I have three. Like most carvers, I have way too many knives but Denny Knives is all I carve with.

I seem to be the only one who is not in love w/ his knives. I picked one up a couple of years ago and haven't been able to get a smooth pull from the knife. It might just be me, but it is collecting dust until I figure it out...

I had a Denny detail knife a while back and liked it a lot, not as much as my Dave Lyons brand though, the handles are a better fit for me and I just really, really like how well the blades hold up and keep a terrific sharp edge with just stropping.

In my opinion though, the Denny gouges can't be beat, I have a few of them and love every one. Both the gouge blades and the handles are a perfect fit for me! Deborah

Yes He is a nice fellow.....I met him when he came thru the carving show I was participating in a number of years ago......he came up to my table and asked: "have you ever tried a Denny knife?" I replied: "Hell yes, they're the best G. D. knives I've ever had!" I think I kinda scared him.....but I've been so happy with these knives that I love to tell everyone about them.

I like 'em fine.
I tried one and then bought two more, of different styles.
I like the hefty, comfortable handle.
A good value for the price.

I own a Denny knife and a couple of gouges, I like them. The only negative for me is the handle, but thats a personal problem. You can also purchase the blades and make your own handles, which I have done.

On another note, I just bought a Lee Ferguson detail knife, which I really like.
Great steel also. Its all a matter of personal taste, kind of like cars.

MeINM,
I also had a problem with a few of the Denny handles. I took Denny's(and others) advice and altered the knife handle on my handy dandy 1" belt sander and made an uncomfortable knife one of my favorites. I really took quite a bit off of the handle which include the brass studs that holds it. Sloped a little poly on it and walla....a new knife.

No complaints on Denny Knives or gouges. I have many different brands and his rates up there. Now My Rick Ferry knife is tops but Denny's are right there with it. Bud Murray close then my Helvies. Only complaint on my Helvies are the thick blades. But carvers in their own right.
Yep Denny is a fine fellow to know. Had the pleasure of carving with hom last year and set beside him why painting our completed caricature. Nice fellow away from class also.

So in escense, I own Denny tools and will buy more.
