Default What a deal!

Just wanted to share (brag) a little about this. I was at an auction today and I think I got a pretty good deal here. Everything in the picture I got for $35.00. Everything is in great shape (like new) except for a few of the Ryobi gouges, they need a bit of a honing. If I figured it right I think there is around $300 plus in tools here given the Ryobi carver has been selling for around $100.00 on Ebay lately and the mallet is from Woodcraft selling for $50.00. I know others have probably gotten better deals, but it has been a while since I got one and just wanted to show you.

P.S. Anyone know the manufacturer of the knife in the picture? It doesn't have a name on it. Could it be a Lyon's knife?

Hey Chipper,

Okay, I admit I'm a little green w/ envy.

I've got that Ryobi rotary tool. It was my first.

Good going.

Corey,

Thanks, you are right, it is a Lee Ferguson Knife. I looked again at it and it does have a very small LF stamped in the blade which I hadn't noticed before.

The Pfeil set is the intermediate starter set. $65 bucks or so at Woodcraft. The gouges are great, the knife less so, but the whole thing is worth every penny. Nice job, there.
