| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong Good question Jerry! Hopefully Garret Wade would do the right thing and let people know up front if they were seconds. If they are first quality they may be just what beginners are looking for, not much of an expense up front to see if carving is for them.

| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong What do I know about these tools? Nowt. But I do know I'm sticking to Denny tools. Just got handles put on three blades, I'm impressed. We're all different but these suit me. No more chasing around for the perfect tool. I can now concentrate on carving.
Just my take on it.

| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong John your right, Denny makes a great tool but maybe for beginners $28.00 for a set of 6 tools is better then $24.00 per tool |

| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong Because you made your own handle out of wood you had laying around and fitted it exactly to your own hands. Not cheaper in time, but in money.

| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong Aye like I say horses for courses.
However living in Scotland I pay less for postage and the customs let it go.
Its a personal choice. I like to make my own handles. Stumpy finger can't get a grip of some handles. |

| | Re: How Could You Go Wrong Hi John, how come customs let it go? That's been the one worry I've had about ordering things from the USA. If I knew I wouldn't be walloped with customs to pay I'd be flying! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
