Is there much difference between the Cape Forge "Battleaxe"

and the Ashley-Iles Ray Gonzalez Hooked Skew ?

I have the Short stemmed 19mm version of the Gonzalez tool?

Just curious if anybody noticed an difference when carving with the "Battleaxe"?

I have three. They take and hold a wicked edge and come razor sharp. If you don't like their knives for any reason send it back and they will give you a full refund. They are really nice people to deal with. You can't loose.

Bob - the battleaxe has all three edges on the business end of the tool sharpened...and I do mean SHARPENED! (two stitches later!) I don't know if the Ashley Isles tool does that.

I have two CF knives, and I dearly love them both. I think they hold an edge longer than most knives I have. I also have their draw knife... very nice!!

I'm looking forward to seeing them at the Ward show weekend after next to get another!!
