 3/8 hand power sander I was reading my July/August copy of Wood Carving(England). On pages 9 and 10 pictures show a "power file" that looks to be a belt sander of approx 3/8 width. I did a search and found Makita has one available with changable widths of belt sanding, 1/4,3/8 and 1/2. $229 ouch!! Sure would like to have one but............$$$$. I found a air tool with same sizes for $44 but would rather have electric. I'm wondering what carvers think of subject and if a less expensive version is available. Bob  |
