Default xmas ornements

this is what I thought I would do to practice relief carving. I used some srollsaw patterns. to practice relief. I had to envision the back to do the relief. the wood is 3/8 bass wood. it was fun. not to much to waist, just practice . I don't like painting to much so this was good for that as well. the elk head horns was cut to twist back and forth.fun stuff. Evie

Those are cute nice job, never thought bout using a scrollsaw pattern but thats good idea, made note and going to try that. Looks very simple and like you said not much waste.

Those ornaments are super. I can just imagine a whole tree covered with them. Would keep the kids busy for hours lookin at them. Well done.

They are great and the paint really makes them come alive. Most carvers are happy to just carve the front.
