Thanks, Nancy! I appreciate the comment. I love color and always seems to gravitate to earth colors.

Hi Joy, Looking forward in seeing your correction on the nose, because as the others have said " not noticeable till you pointed it out,". I like the bright colors and your painting is great. Merle

Nice carving and coloring. Wolves are one of those animals that are just tricky to carve, something about them. They look deceptively simple but catching that "wolfness" isn't easy.
Needless to say I like the work but do understand being your own worst critic all to well. Still a good job!

Merle, I will photograph today and see if there is a noticeable difference. Thanks for looking.

Kenny, I like to point out what I see that is wrong so others will feel more "comfortable" pointing out what they notice. Another set of eyes always helps. thanks for your kind comments.

Thanks Stave, my biggest mistake was only referring to the pattern. I should have looked at my own dogs to see how the hair grows and that there isn't any sharp breaks.....like I have indicated at the nose/brow line. It was an early mistake that I just couldn't recover from. But it is a great learning experience......MORE research next time.

Hi Joy,
I think he looks good so far, its very difficult to please ourselves because we always think we can do better, anxiously waiting for the next pics.
