Default Three Chip Carved Basswood Plaques.

I've been chip carving every weekend for about three months now and I am really enjoying it. I'm not satisfied with my work but it's a lot better than what I could do 3 months ago. I am always trying to improve my carving, however, and I try to make each one better than the one before.

I carved four plaques the weekend before last but I don't have a picture for the fourth one.

I haven't been here for a while but I'm really interested in carving so I hope to come here more often.

Thanks for looking.

I think you've done a great job on all three.

I don't do any chip carving but I think I can appreciate excellent work when I see it.
Most impressed with the lines of the birds in the LUND plaque.

Thanks everyone for all of your kind words of encouragement. I had computer problems last week and haven't had much time to come here.

Like the nice clean carving on the letters. Looks like you are ready to branch out and do some geometric designs..... Have fun!
