Brian,
I saw him out my kitchen window this morning! How'd he get to NY so fast?!
Nice work!

They don't show up here until the first week in May.
Then it's a chore keeping the hummingbird feeders full for about 2 or 3 weeks.
Those orioles sure like sugar water!

Brian, we get them here in Arizona every spring and your right I can't keep my feeder's full. They have this screetching sound they make when their arriving for a drink. The Hummer's wait until the very last minute before leaving the feeder. I saw at Ace hardware that you can buy feeders and food especially for them. Good work on the relief!

Kathy,

I tried the oriole feeders. They seem to prefer the hummer feeders more so I took them down.

Well, I finished the painting, still have to sign the back. Then spray on a matte finish.

It was a fun project and I'm very pleased with the results.

Thanks for looking!

Finished the oriole relief today and found a home for it.

On to the next project .

That's really nice, Brian......well done all the way around, and it does stir thoughts of spring. Even so it's kinda hard to get in the groove about spring things. Here's our house yesterday morning......aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhh!

Dave, you might recognize that little fella on the barn......around here he's known as SnoKopeli! Im not sure, but he might just work for Heikki Luunta, hehehe.

Al,

Brrrr!! Looks like Lake Superior has been overly kind to you. I'm speaking nicely because Lake Erie is open and it's only March!

I see that Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation isn't to far from you in Lac Du Flambeau, Wis. Have you ever taken any courses from them?

Beautiful job finishing her Brian. She sure is a sweet little thing. Brings you in mind of a nice spring day, still some way away here.

Brian, I'll have to admit I've never taken advantage of any of the surrounding sessions. Have only taken one class in relief carving from Fred and Elaine Stenman. But you are right, Lac Du Flambeau is only about 50 miles south of us. My sister in law hits the casino there quite regularly. I'll have to check dillman's out sometime....thanks for the tip. They have a big carving expo over at Boulder Junction in the summer, too, but I've always had a conflict for that one.
