Default Teaching

Need someone near Paducah, Ky. to teach relief carving. I had a 24 yr. old girl contact me and I am NOT a relief carver. I can help her get started a little but she really needs someone who knows what they are doing. Anybody within driving distance who can help her?

Okay, no help there so try this-- She is going to be working in St. Louis for the next 6 weeks so any relief carvers there she can get in touch with for some help?

Tell her to go to a meeting of the St. Louis woodcarvers club or the St. Charles woodcarvers club. There may be more in the area, but these are well established clubs. There is also an active group on the east side in Belleville, IL. Surely, someone there could lead her in the right direction. She could also try visiting the Woodcraft store or Rockler hardware store; both are in the near west side. They should know of active carvers who can help.
