Default Star plaque

This is a chip carving that I made to try a new kind of chip. The chips around the star are chips inside of chips. The star pattern I created using a crystal ornament and it's facets.

Roger, I'm not a chip carver, but that is one beautiful piece of artwork. That has to take a lot of patience. Woderful job on that...Bonnie

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

Thanks Jim. Yes I will be there but this year I will have two tables. It sure seems that my carvings keep getting bigger every year.

That looks pretty cool. Could you post a larger picture or maybe a couple showing details of each area? I love chip carving and seeing other people's work helps me to see how to do the various cuts.

Thank you Joy. I'll see if I can get you better details of this type of cut, Kitaye.
