Hi all,

I was asked to post this picture, it is part of a package I am working on right now. But since it concerns Susan patterns I thought you might enjoy seeing it. It is a laser carving in full 3-d. And yes I normally do not post them but it is rather unique.

The size of the piece is 2 inches by 3.5 inches. And with a bit of luck will be part of a grand piano when all finished.

The bullet is a 22Lr that was on my desk for another job.

Ash, I was just stumbling around the net and came upon this pic, amazing piece of work. I can't believe no one else has posted a response to this one, it's fantastic. Thanks for posting it.

Hi Ash, what a little jewel! I'm trying to imagin this grand piano with this carving. How many of these? and where will they be attached to the piano?
Maybe an image of the finished piece? Please!

Cliff and Mottles,

Thanks,
I normally do not post this kind of work, 3 - d laser is not the same type of work as hand carving. But I was asked so I did.

Mottles , the gentleman that asked for them , did not know they were dragons. But I did get other pieces. a cletic cross, some knot work that will be used in highlighting the piano.

Here are some pics , the material is 1/4 inch maple the cross is 2.5 inches x 3.5 .

The knotted rope is 21x 1
and the squares are 2.5 .

The last piece is a inlay of a celtic knot on flame maple with a cocobola inlay.

The dolphin is a cover on an enclosed music box. and the Celtic dragons are for a humidor.
