Default Sea scenes in progress

These two sea scenes are almost done. Just need to tweek some small details and burn the scenes. One is of the Nova Scotia schooner Bluenose racing and the other is a pair of packet ships crossing paths in mid ocean.

Both are done in Basswood and measure 18" x 12".

Bob, very nice carvings. My only complaint is that the pictures are not large enough to see some of the detail.

Nice work, I really like the use of lines to make the background sky in both pieces, especially the single boat carving.

Bob,
Always enjoy seeing your scenes. They are so nicely done with detail and so much action on the seas.

Safe Carving and God Bless,

Mark

Textures, deep shadows, smooth sails, and the feel of wind....
You've accomplished so much in both of these pieces. I always do enjoy the way you portray waves.

Hi Bob,

Good to see you're as active and productive as ever. I'm glad the damaged ship has slowed you down.

Very nice scenes.
