Default Who's "the guy" to send knives for to be sharpened?

I just don't think I'm going to be able to get this sharpening thing down...after many tries with the ceramic stones, I am clearly doing something wrong. My flex-cut and Barton knives still feel about as sharp as a butter knife.

I occasionally see mention on here of some guy to send your knives to, I think the name is "Rick"? Can somebody give me more info? I think I need to have these knives re-sharpened to surgical sharpness by a pro, then will try to keep up the honing myself with a fine stone afterward.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your help, Sean. $2.00 per knife would be a heck of a deal if he can help salvage these puppies.

Yep...

I sent Rick a little set of gouges I hadn't ever used because they looked like cheapies... because they were sharpened the right way, I now use them all of the time!

Rick is THE MAN!
