Default Re: relief size gouges

Just a little info here.... I and many others who've posted on here, have had problems with Henry Taylor tools.... flaws in the steel that the blade is made from. 2 out of 3 HT tools I bought, had bad spots in the cutting edge that kept re appearing in the exact same spot, no matter how far down we ground to get past it. The tools were otherwise excellent but it was frustrating leaving little scratches in the wood as you work to finish a piece. Until I hear that they have resolved this issue, I won't buy Henry Taylor tools any more.
