Default Relief Carving for small chest

I want to show one of my relief carvings from last year.

Two flat reliefs, mounted in the front frame of a small oak chest.
Most of the work was done with handtools.

Very nice chest, and I think the carvings really enhance it!

The carvings are perfect for the medieval design of the trunk, and I admire the woodworking on the trunk as well.

Very nice, it almost looks like the work of the Roycroft craftsmen.

Well done! Nice job on both the carvings and building the chest.

Great carving to compliment a well designed chest. Really a nice piece.

Thank you all for the compliments!

I'm working on another oak chest. It's a little bit bigger then this one. The carvings are ready and i will take some photos to show it here.

Beautiful job on the carvings and the chest construction. That's a piece to be treasured for many years to come.
