| I gave this carving to a friend who runs an auto repair place. He's done a lot of work for me over the past 13 years and this was just a small thank you as well as a 'new shop' warming gift. After 12 years in a location that wasn't really suited for him, he moved into a new place with lots of room. I decided to do a simple stain for this piece and just add the paint for the sign for his business. He does have it on display in his shop. And the two cars are: '57 Corvette and '57 T-Bird ... Very nice, the cars are very recognizable, I'll admit to not knowing the years, looks like a rack of quart cans of oil between the pumps. That brings back memories of pushing the spout down into the can to pour it in the motor. Great job and a wonderful gift to a friend.
