Default Record project duration?

How long does your typical carving project take? Mine often take weeks or months because I work on them and set them aside and pick them up later. I am claiming the record with the project pictured below. I whittled the puzzle pieces in 1950 when I found the plans in a book I received for Christmas. The original plans called for a box inside. I finally got around to making and carving the box in 2005! The box is dovetailed together (but not glued) and has chip-carved leaves on all six surfaces.

The puzzle assembly is 4" x4" x 6". The pieces are 3/8" square and 4" or 6" long. I have to use the printed directions from the book I received in 1949 to put it together or take it apart. Some of the key moves are designed to allow the piece to slide too far, locking further moves. The box can also be disassembled, so the overall puzzle has 30 pieces.
