Chris
Carving the Human Face by Jeff Phares is a very good place to start. I used this book to carve my Indian bust. I think it turned out well as this was only my fifth carving. Dan

Ditto on Jeff's book. It's a great place to get help.

Chris, Ian Norbury is second to non when it comes to carving the human figure as well as faces. He has several books and DVDs on the subject. Home - Ian Norbury Good luck!
