Default praying hands pattern for relief carving

I saw a magazine for relief carving a every old copy. It had the picture but no pattern. I want to do this for my mother-in-law for christmas can anyone help

Do an image search of Google for "praying hands".

Debbie, the relief carving you saw quite likely was based on a drawing by Albrecht Durer.

I don't have a Praying hands pattern, but have seen it. This is one I like and have done a couple of dozen on so...

If you can borrow a copy of the book "Elements of Woodcarving" by Chris Pye you will find a pattern and full instructions. I completed the carving a couple of weeks ago. Regards, Barrie
