Hello, I'm getting into relief carving and was wondering what are some nice ways to power sand the wood? There are a lot of little areas that are hard to get into so I was thinking maybe abrasive pads on a rotary tool. I like my carvings to be a little rough so I don't mind if the sanding eats into the wood, but just need an easy and fast way to get up into those tight spaces. -Kenny |

I have some small flap wheels that have a 1/4" shaft and some tiny flap wheels that have a 1/8" shaft. I got mine at the welding supply house I also have some small foam sanding pads no bigger than a penny that may help you. Go to your local pro welding supply house I bet you will find some things that you can make use of.
