I like that carving very much Doris, are you happy with the likeness, and if so, will you present it as a gift? I am sure that your friend will be a very happy and proud owner of such a gift..

Doris, very nice job on the carving. Great pc of wood well carved and sanded and the finish is perfect. I would not change it.

Nice piece of work Doris. Has a nice casual look about it. Well done, very creative.

A very nice gift from a very good carver.

The only critque I have is the vertical line on his neck. If a glasses retainer, have outside shirt and thicker hair at the ear. If a neck muscle blend (to not make it stand out so much) it more to make it part of his neck and under the skin. I would not want anyone to question which it is. My opinion is, you've done a fine job with the carving.

Very interesting position to carve. I like it very much.
The folds in the fabric of his shirt work well too. The size surprised me. I would have thought it to be larger until I realized your hand was in the image.

I think it's a super piece!
I really lilke the pose. Very unique and creative.
The fact that it's so tiny only adds to its charm.
I envy your skill and artistic eye. Nice work.
