Default Old Timer Update

Well here is this weeks update on the relief I have been working on. The picture on the right is the way it looks in the book. The one on the left is my attempt. Let me know what you all think.

Ron-I have never done any relief carving,so I can't comment on the technicalitys.
But i know what I like and its outstanding

Ron, very nice job. I like how you have removed the wood to make the image stand out. Your texturing and layering is excellent. Cant wait to see it finished.

Ron, If I didnt know better I would have thought you wrote the book. Your effort is every bit as good as the original. If I have said it once I have said it over and over again. You sir amaze me with your dedication and drive. I couldnt have done as nearly as well and I have 20/20 vision.
