Default New Releif Patterns

Mottles I bought the same book on releif carving from Irish. I have a couple of the patterns layed out to try. I am like you and find the book very well written and easy to follow with some excellent patterns. Here are the ones I am going to try first hope you can see them ok.

I've got Lora's book on carving landscapes, and it was very easy to use as well as a great help.

Hi Gilley, the book we are refering to is 'Wildlife Carving in Relief' by Lora S. Irish and published by Fox Chapel at http://www.foxchapelpublishing.com/s...lCat=43&step=2 or Susan's website www.carvingpatterns.com
It's such an educational book and one that can be used by beginner and professional alike. Money well spent!
PS: Lora (Susan) has other books also on carving and woodburning.

Gilly I agree with Kathy that it is money well spent. The book has several simular patterns that I think you would like and it is a well wrttin book very informative. Another one you might like is the Relief Carving Treasury by William F. Judt also available at Fox Chapel.
