Default New Mill Finished

Well after getting all the advice and insight from everyone here is what I ended up with. I spent quite awhile going over it with my fingers and am really pleased with the final result. Thanks everyone who contributed to helping me with it. I couldn't do it without your support. I put 2 coats of Danish oil on for finish. I hope the picture shows up Ok!

Again buddy an outstanding carving. Still think you should try a bear with a chainsaw (smile). What is the next project or are you going to take a break until you get back from the 10 mile walk in New York?
When did you say you an Lou are leaving for the big apple?

An exceptional piece, Ron! Everything seems to work well together, but I'm especially impressed with how you handled the reflections on the "water's surface".

Ron, very nice indeed I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next. The picture looks fine and I bet it's even nicer in person.
