Default My latest relief

Just in time for our local carving show.
I love deep relief and this is my first pierced relief.
Carving measures 16" tall x 24" wide x 2" thick,,,Butternut with a Boiled Linseed oil and poly finish.
I've already got my next deep relief in the works,,,planning stage.

Thanks for looking!!!

Nice carving - great detail! Good luck at the show. If you can, take lots of photos and then post them for us.

That is really cool. The pierced effect really adds another dimension to the carving.
