Default my first attempt at relief

I did this as a gift for a friend's little boy. He likes Curious George, so I thought this would be a good first project. Carved from basswood outline woodburned, painted with acrylics, sealed with Minwax Natural woodstain.

Thank you all for the kind words. I've never tried relief before, so I though this would be a fun challenge. Now I just need to decide if I want to attach a wallhanger or a stand to it.
