Default my chip carved quilt.

Hi guys. thought you would like to see my chip carved quilt. I entered it in the Hemit show and won a first and a best of show. I even won $100 . go figure. how fun.
the pictures are not so great. for it is over 3'x4'. so it was hard to get the light right. I believe I am getting better.
Evie

That is one impressive arrangement of chip carving. I can see why you won best in show. I expect you got asked the standard question "how many hours did that take you".

the quilt took me 2 an 1/2 months. it has 76 tiles. and I redid about 8 of them to a smaller size. I also carved the rope in the frame, and made the frame out some desert find wood. it was fun thanks for looking. Evie

Wonderful work, Evie! I was wondering why you hadn't posted in a while; now I know - you were working hard on that quilt!

Excellent, Evie! I can see why you won Best in Show! It was well deserved. There's a lot of variety in those quilts. Thanks for sharing.
