Default More schooners racing.

You know that my favorite thing to carve are ships, anything with sails. This small Basswood oval blank was just crying out for a nice sea scene. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this beautiful pair of old schooners racing along in the wood! It never ceases to amaize me how many ships can be found in wood.

Need some finish yet, but you get the general idea.

Bob

Finished with some wipe on poly. Gives the Basswood some nice character and depth. I'm happy with it.
