Default moister in wood ?????????????????

I read so where that you can put moister back in the wood. But I can't find it. My wood chips out when I am relief carving. Help?

You can spritz the wood with a 50-50 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol (isopropyl).

right be for you carving it. I think there was something about put them in a plastic tub and kept it in there until you use it. I will try the 50/50 mixture on the next one. Thank you very much. P.S. by the way I am using polar wood I have not brought any basswood yet. Tony
