Default making trees and bushes !!!!!!!!

That's a start. Perhaps if you undercut the edges of the trees & bushes they will appear to stand out more from the background. Depending on the type of tree, the branches may or may not all extend from the trunk. Remember: from the viewing distance of this scene you (the viewer) cannot make out individual leaves, pine needles, or blades of grass. So you have to show them in a more general way - as textured lumps. Grassy areas, as in the left foreground, are hard to do. I had a similar problem with the grasses in the "Dachshund" piece.

Thanks Pallin I read the thread and will give at a try. Carving the leaves on a block of wood. I will add some lumps of grasses in the pic. Thanks again. I have not got the right gouges. I have to make them. Tony Mc
