Default low relief boston ivy log

#4 of 6 logs i want to carve for christmas. i guess this is a WIP. trying to get a basic design cut on all logs, then go back later and fine tune. the wood is oak. might add some grass in the background. thanks for lookin.

thanks, i'm thinking about using green and yellow stains. i don;t want to cover up the grain, just color it a little. not sure how the stain will look though. will probably have to do some test stains on a scrap piece.
