Default Last Supper

My version of the Last Supper. I don't quite understand this digital camera. Too much glare and I can't seem to edit it to cut it down. The reason why I finnished it in Old Walnut was because of the golden glare it gives off under the light. I preferred to use a light stain but the Mrs. liked this color because of the credenza it sits upon.

Ya done right proud for yourself.

BTW, see if you can eliminate the flash on the camera.

That cool ! Nice job. Also when your having trouble like that with glare try shooting it outside. Inside I rarely use the flash on my camera when photographing carvings.

Very nice relief. If your camera can take a picture without the flash it might come out without the glare.

MA, burning and carving is not the same as playing with matches and knives.

Nice Carving. The style remindes me of El Greco.

Very nice. I recently got a little OTT task light and I can use it with no flash and get pretty good results (looks like natural light). I have to select to turn the flash off though, it isn't bright enough to trip the automatic light sensor.

That is a tough carving to do IMO. The first one I started was in hickory, there's a lesson well learned. then the second one was in Mahogany- way too grainy. I think next time I'll stick to birch or jelatong.
Here is mine- I think you can tell from the picture haw hard a time I was having with it Smile Last Supper - Wood Carving Illustrated Photo Gallery
