You might be interested to know the Santa plate was lightly coloured with oil based pencil crayons and then gently smeared with a Q-tip.

Very nice once again Mackc!

Bruce and Judy Nicholas has really made the coloring of chip carving something special. He chip carves the patterns and she paints them. She uses the water based pencil crayons and mixes the colors before she applies them and starts light and then can darken them up if she has to.
