Default Getting in the Xmas Spirit

Came across this from a few years ago, thought I would post it in the Xmas Spirit. It is a Susan Irish Pattern, and made from White Pine. 12" high and Granddaughter enjoys it every Xmas. Merle

Thanks Gene, She has her request in for this year already. She liked the Churches that I did earlier, so that is what Santa will be giving her. It is finished and will post it later. Merle

Merle thats such a cute Santa! I like how his beard is done plus his rosey cheeks and nose plus his little blue eyes, which makes this Santa a happy looking jolly olde guy! Nicely carved and the painting you did is JUST right! Looking forward also to seeing your church?

Yes Christmas is for us all but little children really enjoy the belief of a Santa, I know when my last daughter finally found out and theres not a real Santa from older children at her school. I told her,OHhhhhhhhh Yes there is a Santa, hes a spirit, its the spirit of the love that is what Christmas is all about honey. She just smiled. Course now my youngest daughter being 22 yrs old and has a son, my grandson will be 8 months old at Christmas time this year, she will realize that special love also just like I had for her. Great job again Merle on this Santa! Forrest
